William Shatner responded “I hear Google pr Bing helps with that problem” after @Andypops1 tweeted on Shatner’s feed, “I still have no idea what spumoni is.” Assuming the “pr” in Shatner’s tweet was a typo, it appears Shatner is recommending Google or Bing to find answers online.

While it would have been a stronger recommendation without the Google reference, it’s worth noting that the man who overcame the Wrath of Khan mentioned Bing at all.

Bing’s love of Star Trek was shared earlier this year when it began offering a Klingon translator for Star Trek queries. Two days later, the search engine continued to honor Shatner’s sci-fi series, serving up numerous show facts and images when users searched on secret Star Trek phrases.
